Project Leader:
Sister Lea Christelle Rasoanamina
The Congregation of the Sisters of St. John the Baptist in the Diocese of Mahajanga, in Madagascar has a thriving novitiate. Currently, there are 26 novices who have answered the call to the ministry of helping the local community, particularly the poor children and young adults. Madagascar is a very poor part of the world, and these women need help to pay for their religious formation. Once they are educated they, in return, can offer much needed support by being teachers and by providing love, care and spiritual guidance. The Malagasy people need sustenance. $25 can help provide these faithful group of scholars with textbooks and other provisions.
