Support Volunteer Teachers In Myanmar
Due to six-decades of civil war, ethnic conflicts and militarism, Myanmar (Burma) remains one of the poorest countries in the world. 1.3 percent of the population is Catholic and in light of Catholic Social teaching, we combat poverty every way we can. Volunteers from Yangon Diocese’s Agency for Basic Community Development go to remote Christian communities to teach hygiene, children’s rights, basic medicine and community development. Please support our dedicated volunteer teachers.
