The home of the Poor Sisters of Saint Joseph would like to add an Oratory for the new community of Sisters from the Religious Order. Our Congregation just bought a house in Sabana Cruz, Dominican Republic to live in the community and address the needs of the people in Sabana Cruz, Banica and neighboring towns. These towns did not have a Religious Community to accompany them spiritually until now. Our Sisters have been coming to Banica, Dominican Republic for over 12 years on Mission trips. The home is being transformed into a convent where the Sisters can fulfill their call as Religious. Noting this, it is of high importance to extend the home to include an Oratory so that the Sisters can have the Blessed Sacrament in the convent. The extension will also include a multipurpose room for the Sisters to have a space to meet as a community. Thank you so much! And, we are praying everyone there is kept with health, but most importantly, no matter what is happening, that we all grow closer to God in preparation for His coming. Please consider supporting this project. A gift of $25 can help start the work.
