Project Leader:
Sister Francisca Avedi
Sister Francisca Avedi, of the Franciscan Sisters of Saint Joseph, in the Diocese of Homa Bay works with vulnerable children. She, with your support, wants to start a lunch program so that children will be strong enough to attend school. They are susceptible to malnutrition and sickness that makes attending school and learning, almost impossible. This lunch program will help many families receive a full, balanced meal and each can receive a basket of staples to provide more food. The Sisters will show them with words and action, God’s abiding love. A gift of $25 can help feed a family of four for one week.
