All schools in Ghana were asked to lockdown on 15th March 2020 to help control the spread of the Coronavirus. Our children have been home since then and will not return until sometime in the new year. This long stay at home continues to bring untold hardships to children, especially those from poor homes. In the past, Christmas at school was a very special time. Waiting for the birth of Christ and sharing amongst friends on a dedicated day, traditionally called “Sharing Day.” There was music and dancing and singing songs and learning poems. A celebration for all the children and their families, a day filled with love, hope and joy. COVID-19 prevents such reunion, but the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus Sisters still want to deliver to as many families as possible a gift bag, filled with biscuits, rice, drinks and seasonal treats. Will you help the children of Ancilla School? A gift of $25 can buy fruit for a family of four.

We are so happy! To all our generous donors, we say we are most grateful. We work better when we are together. No amount given is considered too small because it is all our contributions that have filled our basket. Our working together will help us arrive at our goal of providing quality education to otherwise condemned to illiteracy and poverty communities. With you there and us here, we are together making a great difference in a needy child's life - together we will reach our goal. May God bless and reward each of you abundantly for giving a helping hand to a good cause.
Thanks you to all who have topped up our basket. We are almost there because of you. Ancilla tries, by our standard, to make school interesting and beautiful for otherwise disadvantaged and deprived kids. Education will surely help to break the circle of poverty and ignorance that many have embraced as the normal way of life. Our children need books, school supplies, uniforms, food, etc to stay and succeed at learning. Help make a better tomorrow for our beautiful and smart kids.
