Project Leader:
Sister Yango Akwilina
The Daughters of Jesus the Good Shepherd would like to accommodate the rising need for fresh milk. The congregation and rural communities face the common challenge of acquiring this nutritious beverage. It is scarce and costly. The Sisters want to grow cattle for this purpose. The poor and low-income earners of the area are the most affected since they cannot afford this special commodity. They walk long distances in search for milk. The idea is to produce quality fresh milk at affordable price for both internal and external market. A donation of $25 can help start this project.
