Project Leader:
Reverend Denis Ocanda
Fr. Denis is raising money to drill bore-hole wells in two villages in Uganda. The nearest well is 5 kms away. To collect only 20 liters of water from this well, it takes villagers two hours of walking, three hours of waiting, and two hours walking back carrying the 20 liters. Women make this trek multiple times daily. Women and children from the two villages also currently fetch water from pot holes by the roadsides for laundry, and from seasonal swamps for drinking and other domestic work. As one can imagine, many villagers suffer from worms and a host of waterborne diseases. Give $25 to provide safe drinking water for two villages in Uganda.

The money sent here helped, together with what was received under DRILL A WELL, to truly drill a well. The only borehole had broken down, and for good, and all we had was unsafe water from seasonal swaps. With the well now, all is fine. We praise God. We thank you. May God bless you immensely from his divine superabundance. Safe water continues to be a big issue here. We thank God you kind Missio friends are able to help us fix some in some neighborhoods. Our prayers for you are endless.
To Paula, Patrick, Shery, Michaela, T, Bob, John J, and the anonymous donors, I say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your kindness. May God bless you abundantly.
