Even when healthcare is available, many rural in Uganda women do not have adequate information about risks or services to help them during their pregnancy. Maternal mortality and complications during are common. Sister Tukakuhebwa Claudia and her community The Sisters of Our Lady of Good Counsel have built a maternity clinic in Mbarara. They are raising money to put on the finishing touches: doors and window frames, electrical and plumbing. Give $25 to provide healthcare to mothers and their children in rural Uganda.
