Feed Children in Madagascar

Project Leader:

Sister Claudine Rasoanjanahary

There are 910,000 orphaned children in Madagascar. With such a large population of abandoned children, human trafficking and commercial exploitation is all too common. Children are the most vulnerable segment of Madagascar’s population. To help and protect them, Sister Claudine and the community of the Sisters of St. John the Baptist operate residence and school for abandoned children in the village of Ambatolahy. 40 children live in the home and 300 children attend the primary school. Sister Claudine and the sisters serve lunch to 150 children each day. Give $22 to support their school. It will feed one at-risk child for a month.
