Shanti Nivas, maharashtra cares for 10 of the most severely disabled children in the western part of Maharashtra. Their parents do not have the resources to pay for special services and education. Shanti Nivas is a residential home that provides health care and education by trained caregivers. Staff travel home with children during holidays enabling families to stay connected and also to support family members. $10 pays for one child's healthcare for one month.
