Project Leader:
Reverend Monsignor Edward Lofton
Founded in 1865, Nawi Mission has been the small village’s spiritual home on the island of Fiji. The Fijian Archbishop has closed the Mission Church because of its possible collapse in Fiji's high winds and rain. The villagers are rebuilding the church themselves in stages as they raise money. Fr. Edward Lofton is fundraising to assist the villagers of Nawi with phase one of the rebuild: tearing down the structure and salvaging concrete blocks for the foundation and concrete floor of the new sanctuary. Give $25 to help rebuild this small village church.
