Protect Malagasy Children

Project Leader:

Sister Claudine Rasoanjanahary

There are 910,000 orphaned children in Madagascar. Child trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of abandoned Malagasy children is a common phenomenon. Children are the most vulnerable segment of Madagascar’s population. To help and protect them, Sister Claudine and the community of the Sisters of St. John the Baptist operate residence and school for abandoned children in the village of Ambatolahy. 40 children live in the home and 300 children attend the primary school. Their small campus lacks a fence to keep their children safe. Give $25 to support Sister Claudine and the children in her care.
