Project Leader:
Sister Do Thi Thanh Huyen
Maria Mater Ecclesiae International Pontifical College in Rome forms seminarians and sisters from around the world for leadership in a global Church. Prior to attending Mater Ecclesiae, Sister Do Thi taught pre-school in the northern rural area of Vietnam, and provided health care to children. Children in Vietnam are a very vulnerable group. Nearly 18% of all children in Vietnam are abandoned, abused, and commercially exploited. Young girls are especially at risk and typically do not stay in school beyond 11 years-old. Sister Do Thi’s graduate studies will deepen her knowledge and skills in health care and education to help her improve the lives of children in Vietnam. Give $25 to support her education at Maria Mater Ecclesiae International Pontifical College in Rome.
